Here is The Update for Sept. 9:

PUBG finishes Week 1 of Phase 3 at the top of the leaderboard:

Looking to start off strong as they did in Phase 2 of NPL play, eUnited PUBG finished at the top of the standings with 104 points to cap off Week 1 of NPL Phase 3.

Opening up the new phase on Erangel, eUnited earned the chicken dinner after a four-versus-two situation against Genesis resulted in a favorable numbers game for the team. Being able to control all sightlines, Brendan “Balefrost” Connors came through with the winning kill to shoot eUnited up the leaderboard.

Maintaining pace, eUnited claimed a flurry of kills and high placements on Saturday to finish the day in first place. On Sunday, the team earned their second chicken dinner of the phase from a gutsy grenade thrown by Taylor “TaylorJay” Johnson. Jumping in from a steep cliff from above, TaylorJay knocked two members of Lazarus with the grenade, while in-game leader Viktor “Stab” Blaesbjerg finished the game off with the ending frag.

Of the 12 games played on the weekend, eUnited earned placement points in nine matches by finishing in the top-8. The team currently ranks second in kills with 60, respectively.

Balefrost leads eUnited in kills with 20, which ranks third among all NPL competitors. Mitchell “Shuhroo” King is second on the squad with 16 kills, which is tied for 11th overall.

Two members of eUnited find themselves in the top-12 in damage dealt, with Shuhroo’s 3,357 damage ranking fifth and TaylorJay’s 3,001 damage ranking 12th.

With three weeks left, the team will remain hungry for more chicken dinners as NPL Phase 3 continues Saturday at 2 p.m. Pacific.

eUnited SMITE claims victory over Obey Alliance

Staying strong in Phase 2 of the SPL, eUnited swept Obey Alliance 3-0 on Thursday.

The win moves eUnited to an 8-4 record overall. The team currently ranks fifth in the standings.

Midlaner Jordan "BigManTingz" Theaker led the lobby with 19 kills across all three games. Aleksandar "iceice" Zahariev contributed a whopping 40 assists.

SPL play will continue Friday when eUnited takes on friendly rival Spacestation Gaming at 1:30 p.m.
