eUnited Call of Duty Roster Returns, Enjoys Offseason

After placing 3rd in Stage 2 of the CWL Global Pro League and securing a 5-6th finish at the 2017 Call of Duty World League Championship, eUnited is pleased to announce the return of all four players for the highly anticipated Call of Duty: WWII season of competitive Call of Duty.

“I’m happy we are moving forward with our roster from Infinite Warfare into WWII,” said Matthew Potthoff, eUnited General Manager. “Most teams make hectic changes before new Call of Duty titles and long before this roster was created we had the intention of creating a consistent, committed roster to building a foundation for a championship title. Though it didn’t come in IW, I know we will take multiple championships in the next game.

“Our passion, chemistry and overall attitudes will take us far into a successful season. I want to thank Alec, Preston, Justin, and Clay for being awesome players to work with and it’s a pleasure to help them in any way I can so they can purely focus on their goals.”

While the band is back together, they also have had some time apart. After the 2017 CWL Championship, the players took a well-needed break and headed to several exciting places for vacation. Justin “SiLLy” Fargo was one of several pros to take a trip to Cologne, Germany to play the new Call of Duty at Gamescom 2017.

“My trip to Germany and Gamescom was pretty cool overall,” SiLLy said. “I’m not the type of person to wait in line, so I was strictly COD at the event. The city of Cologne is pretty interesting itself though.”

James “Clayster” Eubanks has used the downtime in the offseason to take trips with family and friends, including a recent vacation with many Call of Duty pros and personalities in Mexico.

“Honestly, the highlight of my offseason has been friends and family,” Clayster said. “I’ve taken a few trips, and I’m going take a few more but being surrounded by the people I love has been a blessing. I value this time with my fam and friends so much more now that we’re all adults with time-consuming jobs, it’s been really nice.”

For the twins Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson and Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson, the offseason has included the adoption of a new furry friend named Simba for Arcitys and moving into an apartment together.

“My highlight of my offseason is moving into a new place with Preston his girlfriend and also getting my new dog up there too,” Arcitys said.

And the lull in competitive Call of Duty has Prestinni fired up for the upcoming season.

“I really dislike offseasons,” Prestinni said. “Competing is just too fun and I just love dedicating my time to something like that, so when the offseason is this long it irritates me. The wait sucks. But it’s also always refreshing to not have to worry about taking everything with video games seriously 24/7, so it’s not all bad.”

Ahead of WWII, Prestinni and Arcitys were nominated eSports Rookie Of The Year (Console) by eSports Industry Awards! Vote here:
